Please be aware that we may ask you to verify your identity to confirm the authenticity of your request, such as by requesting your name, e-mail address or IDFA. We may also ask for certain information to certify that you are a California resident, such as your address, as well as for information necessary to honor your request, such as your e-mail address. In certain circumstances, you are permitted to use an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf where (i) you provide sufficient evidence to show that the requestor is an authorized agent with written permission to act on your behalf and (ii) you successfully verify your own identity with us.
The CCPA also requires us to provide you with information about the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use such information, and the categories of sources from which we have obtained such information. ScaleMonk does not engage in “sales” of information in the traditional sense; that is, we do not provide directly identifiable information about you like your name, email address, or phone number to third parties for compensation. However, the CCPA broadly defines “sale” to include exchanges of information necessary to deliver personalized advertising. Like most online advertising partners, ScaleMonk engages in these types of information exchanges in order to provide consumers with relevant advertising. Therefore, for purposes of the CCPA, and like most online advertising partners, ScaleMonk engages in these types of information exchanges in order to provide consumers with relevant advertising.
